Camden Area Cabs began operations in the Camden and Wollondilly areas during December 2008. The NSW Ministry of Transport granted a license to Camden Area Cabs in recognition of the need for a more reliable and dependable taxi service which has been largely absent from the region.

The fleet comprises brand new vehicles, including Ford Falcon sedans and Wheelchair Accessible Toyota Maxi Taxis.

The service operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week, to and from Camden town centre, Camden South, Camden Park, Cawdor, Grasmere, Ellis Lane, Werombi, Theresa Park, The Oaks, Oakdale, Belimbla Park, Menangle, Douglas Park, Wilton, Maldon and Razorback areas, to anywhere passengers wish to travel and return from anywhere.
